After the Austrian army recaptured the city, the square was renamed again <a href=\"https:\/\/ro.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Eugen_de_Savoia\">Pia\u021ba Prin\u021bul Eugen<\/a>. The square is also colloquially called \"Old Town Hall Square\". That building was built in <a href=\"https:\/\/ro.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Stil_baroc\">https:\/\/ro.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Stil_baroc<\/a> between the years <a href=\"https:\/\/ro.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/1731\">1731<\/a>&#8211;<a href=\"https:\/\/ro.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/1734\">1734<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Statue of Saint Mary and Saint John Nepomuk<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Located in the center of Liberties Square, this statue is the work of two Viennese sculptors, Blim and Wasserburger. Scenes from the last period of the saint's life are represented on the three sides of the monument <a href=\"https:\/\/ro.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Ioan_Nepomuk\">Ioan Nepomuk<\/a>. In the center of it is <a href=\"https:\/\/ro.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Ioan_Nepomuk\">Saint Nepomuk<\/a> and in the upper part was <a href=\"https:\/\/ro.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Fecioara_Maria\">St. Mary<\/a> with a crown of stars around his head and holding lily flowers, the symbol of purity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The monument is included in the typology <a href=\"https:\/\/ro.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Coloane_ale_ciumei\">plague columns<\/a>.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In 1848, with the outbreak of the Hungarian revolution, the name of the square was changed to Pia\u021ba Libert\u0103\u021bii.
